R&R Ranch offers guided horseback trail rides, pony parties, pony rides, camps, and even a farm petting zoo.
We had my daughters 6th birthday party at R & R and it was amazing! The kids all had a great time riding and learning about horses. We even had a disco dance party at the end, even the adults enjoyed themselves. I highly recommend, fun had by all!!

FishHawk Sporting clays is the best around period. The Grounds are well kept, Golf carts are available for their numerous and well varied clay stations. You can shoot in whatever environment fits your needs or liking from a water vista to deep woods to a a few different second story stations. The Staff has always been very friendly and helpful. The Equipment on the grounds works very well and is frequently serviced. And if there is ever an issue with any clay they are quick and non-questioning in crediting that clay. Water is set up around the ground which is just the icing on the cake that makes this a 5 star review easy. I cannot recommend this spot enough. Have a great and safe time shooting here.

We had a great time camping - the walk to the primitive campsites was beautiful and not too difficult for the kids to carry their own things. The sites are well-maintained and the ranger was very helpful. We had a great time.

A 1 day ride. Plenty of tree coverage and very well marked trails. Trail maps at park entrance and also well mapped via AllTrails app. Many great trails, lots of blues and interesting blacks. Started with green Sand Pine to Rock Garden. Then Blue Garden Ridge and OAF into Lost Meadow. Then black Bridges. Continued to blue Rollercoaster then found blacks StarDust, Gravitron, and Scorpion. Back to trail head to access south trails, via blue North Creek into Buzzard Bay. Definitely enjoyed blacks Twisted Sister and Magic Island along the way. Didnt make it to double blacks Gatorback or Frankenstairs bc of washouts. Accessed core trails from main Trail Head off of SR-39. Small park fee ($5). Main parking area fills up quickly but overflow at campground handles the rest with access to south trails. Several picnic areas in case of rain at trail head (as well as restrooms). Quite busy on the weekend and recommend early start times. Only wildlife we saw was a doe and 2 fawns. And a vulture at the main trail marker LOL. I recommend Deep Woods OFF (not for the vulture but for the mosquitoes). I STILL highly recommend and will return.

Lithia Springs Park is adjacent to one of Hillsborough County Trails. Both wonderful places to walk dogs. The springs themselves are always clear and warm; beautiful for swimming or just looking at the protected fish in the crystal clear spring areas next to the public beach. Great for day picnics or overnight camping.
