I love to camp at Tugaloo, the sites are wooded and as private as can be with a large selection of waterfront sites. There are plenty of walking distance bathrooms throughout the park and the camp hosts do a good job of keeping them clean. Very family friendly.

Nestled in the rolling hills of Georgias upper piedmont, this is one of northern Georgias best kept secrets. A beautiful stream flows through the park, providing the perfect setting for an after-picnic stroll. Hikers can follow either the short nature trail or the longer perimeter trail that winds through hardwoods and crosses creeks.
My best friend who has never been clamping before, loved camping at Victoria Bryant. We platform camp and it was a good thing we did. The rain came in Friday night and didn't let up until the next evening. We chose Platform #7. It kept us dry through the torrential rain. The front desk was staffed with the friendliest, knowledgeable people. The campground host were very helpful and kept everything running smoothly.

The Lavonia Antique Market offers over 15,000 square feet of a little bit of everything you could be looking for. They offered lots of small collectibles. If you are traveling by car you will appreciate this because it's easy to find room for whatever you buy.
The aisles were wide and clear and the booths were very well organized (with the exception of several that were cluttered and we didn't bother to go into those). The friendly people working there make you feel welcomed. My husband found another vintage putter to add to his collection (not that I think he needs more). If you are in the area I highly recommend you stop even if it's just to stretch your legs. You might just find something you didn't even know you needed.
