Dr. David Livingstone Museum and Memorial is a reminder of a self dedicated missionary who went to Ujiji, Kigoma and his mission was to reach new peoples in the Africa and introduce them to Christianity, as well as freeing them from slavery. He wanted the black people to be released from oppression. This is a place you get the history of slave trade and the journeys and missionary activities of Dr. David Livingstone. We have guides who have all the history of Dr. David Livingstone, his mission and family. The guides understand English very well. Lake Tanganyika is few meters from the Museum. You can visit the lake to feel the breeze and enjoy the scenery of Ujiji.
