Jharsuguda is the district headquarters of Jharsuguda district of Odisha, India. It is the administrative headquarters of Jharsuguda district. It is an industrial hub, consisting mainly of metallurgical industries. Jharsuguda is well connected to major cities of India through the rail network, and an airport in being constructed. It is popularly known as the powerhouse of Odisha due to a large number of thermal power plants located nearby.

It was very thrilling and adventurous, going into the cave wearing spikes and hand-gloves. The stalactites and stalagmites projecting from the top of the cave were amazing.
