Wonderful family fun for all ages with a herd of elephants in Hugo, Oklahoma. One of the largest elephant sanctuaries in the US, the herd is mostly made up of retired circus elephants and their offspring. The staff is wonderful, enthusiastic and very well informed about their charges. Of course, The well cared for elephants steal the show! We would recommend paying the extra money for the private group tour. It can be pricey but it is well worth it and the elephants just adore the treats you can feed them

We spent about 30 minutes browsing after seeing showmen's rest. We were disappointed at the lack of circus memorabilia, it focused mostly on Hugo itself. Cool to see a telephone operator's plugboard up close, and an old IBM punch card machine. The volunteer told us of his years of programming one in industry which was neat. Very friendly!

Our third visit and enjoyed another wonderful day at the park. We travel once a year to Hugo from Plano texas to run in the race for poverty. Well organized and overall great event. This park has a lot to offer. Picnic areas nice views of the lake. I encourage visits if you are in the area.

A library is not really a place that you have to visit as a tourist. But as there is not so many things to do in Hugo, we visited this library. A very neat one, well maintaned, very comfortable in the kids' corner, friendly and helpfull staff even they gave us information about places that we might be interested to see. The location is easy to find, just along the main street.
