This is an old established wood opposite the road to the Glenn Miller museum ,there have been new trees planted in a field close by .unsuitable for children's buggies as the ground has lumps and rough surfaces. The road leading to it from Clapham is concrete and was built for access to twinwoods and thurleigh airfields .there are wild flowers birds including jays nesting here and great views of the surrounding countryside .
