This is a lovely campus and the Osborne Chapel is within a perfect setting. The wedding guests were all pleasantly surprised. A great location for a small wedding. Full disclosure - I attended BU but hadn't been back on campus in years - was even nicer than before.

Beautiful log-cabin like building, rustic look, and very appealing. When you walk inside, you are wowed by the beauty of the wood, and the selection of wines. Dan, the owner, took very good care of us, and took his time explaining the different types of grapes and their aging to make the different kinds of wine. He let us taste a large variety of wines, from dry to sweet, Whites and Reds. It was a delicious experience.
We left with 4 bottles of wine and a huge smile. Coming back!

Our kids look forward to strawberry picking every year at this orchard. There is a play area with hay and picnic tables. Just bring a sack lunch and enjoy fresh strawberries for dessert. Also, the staff is very cordial and the price for the strawberries is very reasonable.

This is a great museum. It's so deep underground. You get to ride an elevator down 600+ feet until it's so dark in the elevator you can't really see anything. The guide kept talking to us while we descended to keep us all calm.
Once the doors open, you step off the elevator into a real salt mine. They have so many great educational areas for people of all ages to touch and discover the various forms of salt rock in the mine.
I recommend you ride the train. They actually have an underground train that will take you out deeper into areas of the mine that were once actively worked. The train conductor gives guided historical information during the train tour. Make sure to get a ticket for the train in advance before going down into the mine.
At the end of the train ride, you get to select an actual piece of salt rock from the mine as a keepsake from your adventure. They also had a unique collection of superhero and movie relics on display for viewing as you make your way back to the elevator.

The Quayle Collection is one of the hidden gems we hear about. It is a very small but extremely well done collection of bibles and other sacred texts. The exhibit we saw in July included woodcuts from the 1500s a 16th century tapestry, engravings and early maps of the holy lands. If you are lucky, you will find one of the grad students working there who will share his passion for the work being done with the biblical texts. Stop by and take a look at the lovely old church brought over from England before you leave the Campus.
