Russells Patio & Garden Centre

Reviewed By LauraDaveJames - Solihull, United Kingdom

We have visited a couple of times this year and found it to be very dealable with in the current situation. There are several plant nursery businesses on the large outdoor site. There is also a pleasant café with inside and outside space, unfortunately closed during the current lockdown. It is refreshing to find a proper nursery instead of the glorified retail premises that many garden centres have become. There is plenty of parking and it is possible to pull your car up next to the compost bags and load directly into your car. The staff are pleasant, knowledgeable and willing to provide any help that is required.

Bagot's Castle

Reviewed By 149stuartc - Rayleigh, United Kingdom

Just along the road from Lunt Roman Fort there was plenty of parking. While the castle is not very substantial and only the basement level remains the ruin forms part of a much wider landscape which includes a riverside walk, nature trail and fish ponds. There is even the remains of a military test track from World War II. It’s all very picturesque and there are lots of information boards. It’s a really nice place to visit and very well maintained.

5. Almat Flying Academy

Friendly flying school offering flight instruction up to PPL level. We also offer a number of flying experiences and trial lessons using our diverse fleet of 2 seater and 4 seater aircraft. In addition to this we offer aerobatic flying experiences for those who are feeling a little more adventurous!
