With more than 300 rare and endangered primates in its care, Ape Action Africa is now one of the largest conservation projects of its kind in Africa. Many of the animals arrive at the sanctuary as orphans of the illegal bushmeat and pet trades and are rehabilitated and provided with lifelong care.

Not a zoo. Ape Action Africa is worth the visit and your support. Seeing rescued monkeys and Gorillas in a natural setting and meeting staff dedicated to their welfare was a great experience.

So beautiful a waterfall especially during the rainy season with the water falling with a heavy volume and as you get closer with your canoe paddler, you can feel some water vapor touching you. Every time I visit I have a new experience
