Crystal Basin Cellars is a circle of friends who are sharply focused on creating small batches of wines of outstanding quality. Our long-standing, world-class El Dorado grape sources complement our minimalist, handmade winemaking style to create delicious fruit-forward wines.
We came from Florida and did a little wine tour with a group and this was our favorite stop! They had the best wines and Mike was a lot of fun to learn from and chat with! They also had cute wine gifts to buy and I signed up for the wine club and can’t wait to get my first case!

At Madroña, we make exceptional wines that are simple, yet powerful, reflection of this special place, meant to be enjoyed at table with family and friends. We are committed to making wines that are a pure and balanced expression of the land and of the varietals deliverately selected to thrive on our two vineyard properties.

Family friendly features like changing tables in both gender bathrooms, multi-stall bathrooms, space to run around, lots of tables, kid-sized picnic tables, and tractors to climb on were nice. Our visit was on a Thursday so the cider bar and barbecue were closed, but we had a short wait for hot donuts and cold bottled cider. There are also apples, pies, jams, corn dogs, sliced pies and cobblers with ice cream. Nice, peaceful visit and most people were good about mask-wearing and social distance. Dog-friendly outdoor space with lots of well-behaved dogs while we were there.
