The Town of Webb Historical Association is the home of the Goodsell Museum. We are located in a turn of the century house, which also has a barn and ice house to visit. The Museum have six room which display items showing the history of this area. Most of these exhibits change yearly. On the main floor we have an exhibit of technology as it came to the area. Another room is dedicated to taxidermy. Upstairs is a doctor's office, ca 1950's, a room telling the story of the previous owners, and two other rotating exhibits.

View is a multi-arts center, dedicated to offering national exhibitions, performances, and workshops for all ages year round. It is located just one mile north of the village of Old Forge on Route 28. It's also the perfect place to hold your events all year round!
This state-of-the-art facility is so beautifully rustic and modern at the same time. The grounds are meticulous and have some really interesting exhibits. Inside, there are several exhibits, namely paintings, sculptures, music/dance, and photography (my personal favorite). The staff is especially helpful in offering suggestions as to where to start and what to think about in each exhibit. Overall, a very enjoyable experience!

When you live in a fairly remote area away from all the big box stores you need a place where you can shop and find everything you need. The Old Forge Hardware Store is just such a place. Gifts - candy - housewares - yarn - books- clothes - tools - Christmas decor - furniture - toys - and so much more - you name it they've got it. We had not visited the Old Forge area in 40 plus years and the Old Forge Hardware store was there then but it is so much bigger and better now.

I love everything about this place... the employees, the atmosphere, the BREWS! I always start with a sampler flight to try out their new stuff. Reasonable prices, lots of IPA's if that's your thing. nd if you want to bring some home, no growler needed - they can it! Pretty cool. It's so close to the water park, I suspect many a father has escaped the screaming children to seek refuge and a cold beer...
