A bright and friendly place for children of all ages, featuring a life-sized train car and a water room.
Such a great place for children to really explore different textures, environments, experiments, etc.... A safe place for them to learn. We loved the car area and the Whole foods store was a big hit. Bring a dry shirt, even with the apron my 18 month old was soaked after playing in the water area.

The Oil Lamp theatre in downtown Glenview is a real treat to attend. The theatre itself is very small and intimate, the actors do a great job and the offerings are always well suited to the tiny space. The theatre was originally an invitation only home production that has expanded into it’s current 60 seat venue while maintaining the same intimacy of a living room. There are always home made cookies and hot cocoa in the winter. Patrons are invited to bring a bottle of wine to be enjoyed before the show and during intermission. You will be personally greeted at the door and thanked for coming. The company offers four plays per season with an annual holiday rendition of A Radio Play of It’s a Wonderful Life with a Christmas tree set up in the living room lobby. Oil Lamp is a truly feel good place to enjoy intimate theatre.

Glen Tower Center, commonly known as The Glen, is like no other shopping mall you have ever experienced. Located at 2030 Tower Drive in Glenview, one of Chicago's north shore suburbs, it is an upscale layout that features over 50 specialty retailers and restaurants, luxury apartments, a movie theater and professional office spaces. No fast-food eateries or five-and-dime stores here. How about experiencing flavors of many cultures at Jibek Jolu, with a menu of cuisines from Turkey, India and post-Soviet countries? Or Dawg Park, where comfort food meets gourmet innovations? Shop at Carter's, Apricot Lane, Dick's Sporting Goods, Evereve, Von Maur, Jos. A. Bank, Glenview Jewelers, Dino's Sports Fan Shop, Gadget Works, Book Market, GameStop, Cookies by Design and Amphora Home. Take a luncheon break at Dawg Park Grill, Potbelly, El Tradicional, Noodles & Company, Forever Yogurt, Ben & Jerry's Scoop Shop, John's Garage Sports Bar, Hashstacks Cafe and Market, Your Pie, Montira Thai and Sushi, Mingle Juice, Oak at the Glen, Yard House and Jibek Julu. For entertainment, see a movie at Arclight Cinemas or watch the grandchildren play games at Funtopia. Avoid the hustle and bustle of the larger shopping malls. The Glen offers something different.
