Opened in 1894, The Market Hall Cinema is Wales' Oldest Cinema. In 2014 it was awarded the title UK CINEMA OF THE YEAR. This 200 seat venue is open 7 days a week and offers ample FREE PARKING. The Museum was awarded full accreditation by the Arts Council of England and the Welsh Government on 18th July 2014 and achieved the status of a Quality Assured Attraction for 2013-2015(VAQAS) through the Welsh Government and CyMAL. The Museum extends a warm welcome to all visitors and is open Monday to Friday between the hours of 10.00hrs and 16.30hrs with the exception of Bank Holiday closures.
