Top 5 Things to do for Honeymoon in Monte-Carlo, Monaco

February 7, 2022 Marianna Hollaway

Monte-Carlo is home to the celebrated Monte Carlo Casino. This glamorous palace is full of frescoes, sculptures, and features an astonishing gold and marble atrium—not to mention the main attraction—gambling! Steeped in 700 years of Grimaldi royal history, Monte-Carlo’s location is stunning, tucked between French medieval villages and the Alps. Take in a world-class opera or ballet, bask in the sun on Larvotto Beach or get an adrenaline rush at May's Formula 1 Grand Prix.

My favourite view on the French Riviera. There is a little hike involved so make sure you have appropriate shoes but it’s not too hard. There is also gardens and the walk leading to the Palace is so beautiful!

Casino Cafe de Paris

Reviewed By marshga - Leeds, United Kingdom

Whilst staying in Nice, we made the short trip to Monaco on the last evening of our holiday, to eat at the Café de Paris and then spend a few hours across the square in the casino. Received a good welcome on arrival and table in a bright area in the restaurant., with plenty of room between tables. Food was expensive but good quality, well presented and excellent taste. Drinks not cheap, but good quality wine and well chilled. an excellent place fr a quality meal with a great atmosphere.
