The location is not the nicest: it is near to a very busy road, with lots of grey buildings around. But the inside of the restaurant is nicely decorated, and the food definitely compensates the lack of a nice view. It is definitely worth a visit!We go very often for lunch at the restaurant: they have a great lunch menu, for a very good price. As starter, there is a miso soup. As main dish, I normally choose the salmon teriyaki (with side dishes of rice and salad) - the salmon is perfectly done, with a very delicious sauce. My husband normally goes for the chicken Katsu - fried chicken, also with rice and salad as side dishes.Hello Frau JBacaba.Thank you for your great comment. I am very happy to hear about your comment. it takes 2 days to prepare Teriyaki Sauce and 5 days for Torikatsu Sauce. We went yesterday with a friend to eat sushi at Kanpai. We really enjoyed the food and the serving was also great. My one and only objection was the price.If the prices were 20% lower than they are now I would probably be there really often!

After leaving the thermal spa, my friends, husband, and I decided to get a bite to eat. They love sushi while I do not. The menu was in English (we were told they are actually producing a new menu with the next few months). My group ordered a variety of sushi while I ordered the fried noodle with veggies and chicken. Our appetizers were amazing. My group liked the prawn chips while I was enjoying the spring rolls. Our meals took a rather long time to get to us, especially considering we were the only ones there for a bit. It didn't truly bother us because we were having a great time chatting. Once the meals did arrive they looked amazing. My fried noodles were amazing: well-seasoned with little pieces of fried chicken skin. The waitress was friendly and spoke enough English to get the job done, which we all appreciated. She actually gave us complimentary bottles of plum wine as we left. I will go back any time I'm in Aachen!

Wir essen hier gelegentlich oder bestellen etwas. Bisher wurden wir nie enttäuscht. Sowohl das Sushi, als auch das Curry waren immer hervorragend. Am Wochenende sollte man auf jeden Fall reservieren bzw vorbestellen. Wenn man das Essen geliefert haben möchte sollte man frühzeitig bestellen, Lieferzeiten sind wegen der hohen Nachfrage teilweise bis zu 1,5 Stunden. Deswegen holen wir es lieber selber. Die Preise sind vollkommen in Ordnung. Wir kommen immer gerne!

I thoroughly enjoyed eating sushi at Best Friends. I was taken aback by how fresh the sushi tasted and how many options I was able to choose from. The restaurant also had a cosy and sweet ambience, nothing fancy but also nothing too casual, just family friendly and you could tell everyone around you enjoyed their meal. Would definitely recommend if you're craving for some sushi!
