Like sushi and visiting Oneonta, then eat here! This location is celebrating its tenth anniversary and brought down the sushi prices. We tried the BBQ octopus as an appetizer and it arrived in a long platter. Plenty of slices, done well, good sauce, and tasty. We ordered 5 types of sushi, and that arrived in a large platter, with each 8 or 6 pieces nicely arranged in rows. The sushi was fresh and tasty and at a great price. Each sushi roll was an amazing $2.50. That's a reason to celebrate. The staff is friendly, the restaurant is clean, and the food is delicious. At this price one may want to sample all the sushi. Box meals and other types of food is available as well.

We went for sushi and after we ordered I noticed that there was no sushi chef at the sushi bar. Thought maybe he had stepped away but 30 minutes later still no sushi chef and the waitress kept taking orders for sushi! Since the waitress did not check back with us we called her over and she said simply he'll be here in 5 minutes. No apology for the wait. Ten minutes later the sushi chef showed up and started on the orders. No apology and no explanation, no offer of more water and tea. Absolutely horrible service.

If you like sushi, you will love this location. The sushi platters are plentiful and really reasonable. Some choices include soup and salad. Both are prepared well and tasty. I had ordered a lunch, plus additional sushi platters. Idid not try all the sushi but do enjoy the volcano. It has a nice taste plus a crunch. The food is fresh, restaurant is clean, and the staff is very friendly. Will return upon my next visit to Oneonta.

This is our go to sushi place we usually have lunch but tonight we had dinner and I don't think we will have lunch anymore for now on only dinner with their great prices for all you can eat and more choices for dinner glad we gave it a try we will be back next week
