Bangkok Sushi

The restaurant is nicely decorated, spacious, and offers patio seating. We enjoyed the pork pad thai and seafood panang curry which included shrimp scallops, and calamari. The dishes were flavorful but not spicy to our tastes. The volcano shrimp was on a bed of cabbage and raw or lightly steamed vegetables with a chili sauce that had a unique spicy flavor. This dish was not as well received. The spring rolls appetizer verged on tasteless and left in the deep fryer too long. The server was responsive, and the dining atmosphere is very enoyable.

We've been going to Ichiban for nearly 10 years. We took out-of-town guests here for dinner and it was not near as good as usual. My husband's meal had overcooked salmon, crab Rangoon was greasy, sweet and sour sauce seemed watered down. We we're disappointed. What's changed, Ichiban?

Thai Samurai Restaraunt

Attempted to place a pick up order and let the phone ring almost five minutes before someone answered. I guess “hello” is the appropriate way to answer a business phone. When I asked to place an order for pick up the young gentleman put the phone down and I could listen to him move papers around for the next 10 minutes before I hung up. My wife attempted to call back a dozen times with negative success. We then went to the restaurant thinking it must be very busy to find only five tables were occupied and only two employees in the restaurant. The male finally gave us attention and asked if we were picking up food when I told him how he treated us he just walked away and helped another customer. The female employee was on the phone taking an order looking like she absolutely hated her job and her life. When we told her the issue she made excuses about how she has not taken a break all day and that the male had just come off his break. I guess breaks come before Customer Service at Thai Samurai. We have been loyal customers for over five years and stuck with Thai Samurai even when they were shut down by the health department. They definitely lost to loyal customers tonight and hopefully more will follow. As we were exiting a young couple asked about the restaurant and we were more than happy to tell them how they treat customers they made the smart decision and went elsewhere.

Koizi Endless Sushi

We didn't understand there was an "eat all you want" concept when we went here for dinner (except you get fined if you don't eat everything!). Appetizers and Entrees all came at once, with a waitress who kept pushing more and more food onto us. It was somewhat overwhelming. Pricing is fair, but the food quality very average.

Maybe my experience wasn't a normal experience. I was already setting myself up for disappointment because this area isn't a great market for sushi. You never want to go to low volume sushi restaurants. That means they aren't turning over product fast enough. BUT I did it.I have seen a lot of great reviews about this place. To me, it just wasn't firing on all eight cylinders on my visit. The service was good. The restaurant was clean...but the food was just off.It didn't have the freshness I was looking for. We are not land-locked. We have a few very good vendors that have their own boats and they bring in fresh seafood daily. I know that I am very picky when it comes to sushi. The Yellow Tail was a little grey. It should be bright white. The tuna had a metallic taste. Sushi Grade tuna shouldn't have that flavor. It tasted as it came out of a cryovacked package. It didn't make me sick or anything, but the quality did not meet the price point. Hi David, I'm sorry you were disappointed with the quality of the fish. Contrary to what the area may seen, we are very fortunate to be quite high volume. The yellowtail that we import from Japan has always been and should be pink and white in color. Our tuna is selected selected from a fish market in Japan, and is delivered to us on ice three days a week. Based on these things I believe our items are priced fairly. I’m glad you gave us a chance, and were satisfied by our service and cleanliness. I hope you give us a chance to make things right.Thank you,Nam
