After 4 days in Japan I needed a break from soy sauce and pickles. The restaurant was recommended to us by our hotel. On arrival we were shown to a low Japanese style table. After taking off my shoes, the first thing that I noticed was the view over the Sea of Japan, which suffered from the blight of electricity poles and wires. The English menu was helpful, except that the drinks section was not translated. My wife ordered the pork chop which was accompanied by a pork cutlet, slice of ham and omelet with salad and rice. My "Hamburg" was a beef patty with sauce, salad and rice. We enjoyed both dishes for both the fresh salad and the meat.If in the area this restaurant is worth a visit.
This is a sushi place where the sushi comes out on a conveyor belt. There is a lot of variation in the food. Most plates are 100 Yen a piece for 2 pieces. Some plates are 180 Yen, as are some desserts. The touch screen at your table has an English option. Also, you can order your Sushi directly on the touch screen if you find yourself in a bad position on the line. When you direct order, your food comes out on a plate marked for your table and the touch screen plays a little chime to alert you to your food. They have beer, tea, soda, and water to drink. Great experiance and a must do if in the Kyotango area.
