Popped in here on a whim. We were lucky to get a spot. Sushi is absolutely fantastic. Very fresh and well prepared. Good service. Slightly more expensive than their "sister" branch but well worth it.

Sushi is excellent, our kids loved it.You can either order a la carte or sit at the bar and take the sushi passing by in little boats. Especially lunch menu is very reaonable. But it is difficult to get a spot during lunch time since many local employees visit this little restaurant.

I've been here a few times and if you can get past the very tired interior and focus on the fish, then it's quite good. Even more so considering the price.Service is slow (but does have a smile) and as I like to sit on the balcony you may not be seen, but the best way around that is to get up and grab some attention.I've had a cross section of the menu, sushi, sashimi, tempura, the bento boxes, salads and can't complain about the food, in fact half the time the bento boxes are just too much. I'll be back when I'm in town and want a cheap Japanese hit.

Since my offspring introcuced me to Sushi, I have come to love it, and I have explored Sushi restaurants. Haru in Erlangen is one of the nicest places I have come across.I particularly love the location along the old city wall of Erlangen and the ambient - designed by two talented civil engineers of the town. The sevice deserves a special mention: I had two meals there on two consecutive days, and the friendly waitress remembered this a couple of months later - this made me feel like a habitué. If you don´t know what to choose from the (ample) menu, just ask for a recommendation.Itadakimasu!

The restaurant looks classy and that is the only positive thing I can say about it.We ordered the Vietnamese pancakes/omelet which had interesting salad greens on the side, fried rice, spring rolls, and barbecued pork in a bowl. Everything that we ordered was extremely greasy that after a few bites, we didn't want to eat anymore. If you find yourself here, maybe order the sushi as it doesn't need to be cooked. Then again, it's a Vietnamese restaurant, not Japanese.
