Located in Beltsville, Maryland in a ratty strip mall off Route 1 (Baltimore Avenue). The place never has more than 6 or 8 people eating in it at any given time. One of those places that makes you wonder how they stay in business. What I like is its authentic Korean sense of atmosphere; chatty Korean waitress who is entertaining (the only person working there with fairly good English conversation skills). They have a sushi bar and daily buffet. But the buffet disappears at 3pm. The restaurant closes for a few hours then re-opens for dinner at 5pm (though I have gotten there at 4:30pm and was served). Maybe they do that for "regulars" like myself. The clientele is a mixed bag-- locals--mainly Americans (which could be a red flag, but not in this case), Asians (Korean, Chinese, Japanese), and occasional Latin or Caribbean, and the occasional tourist. Everyone is made to feel welcome. I am half Korean and know Korean food so I am pretty hard on Korean restaurants in areas where you would not expect to find them. I've had their GalbiTang (short rib soup), SamgaeTang (Cornish hen stuffed with ginseng and rice)--highly recommended, but call them ahead of time to be sure they have it on the menu cause I don't believe they make it every day. It's one of those specialty dishes most Americans don't know about, and many stateside Korean restaurants don't carry it. To find a Korean restaurant in Maryland that makes it was really unusual. I also recommend their standard daily buffet--quick good eats. There's good side condiments like big pieces of garlic, green peppers, and bean paste. If you like dishes with heat both from fire and spice, try the fish soup. It comes to you boiling in one of the typical small brown, earthen pots. Just smelling it will clear your sinuses. Eaten with a bowl of rice and side kimchi dishes, and you'll be in nose running heaven. And sushi lovers will like their good assortment of fish, although not served all day. Their sushi chef is only there during dinner hours. I rate this place highly for authenticity of the cooking and food selection. The food is not watered down for American palettes like some ethnic restaurants will do. If I find a restaurant that does this, I won't go there again. But this place is the real deal and well worth the drive if you are coming from out of town. If you're a local and a lover of Korean quisine, you will be eating there often. I guarantee it!

Had some decent Chinese dishes - including the crispy eggplant which is particularly tasty - but would say the restaurant tries many types of food (Chinese, sushi, Thai) that limits some of the chinese variety. They tend to have the classic Chinese dishes. The sushi was mediocre. Not great/not bad.

It's a pretty and intimate Japanese restaurant with good lunch specials. There is a Japanese curry that is not on the menu which is my husbands favorite...not at all like Thai curry. He's not crazy about their sushi, says the rice is a little too sweet but I don't notice it. Their Bento boxes are good but their cooked protein sometimes comes with too much sauce. I've had better sushi and tempura at other small restaurants but, that said, I still like coming here. Tasty. Servers are very nice.

Nice sushi, hibachi and Chinese buffets around. Lots of choices all done well. Plenty of seafood, ribs, beff and chicken dishes. Huge capacity restaurant never fills so rarely a wait.

My buddy and I went to Sui's for something different. The people are friendly and fast to provide service. I had the tofu and vegetable lunch special. It was OK. There were plenty of vegetables and the tofu was cooked right but I wasn't a fan of the sauce.
