This restaurant had a nice menu selection - both Sushi as well as tex-mex items mainly. I had the steak taco which was very, very good. The serving was large and the steak was tasty. Friends had the asian stir fry and chicken quesidilla and they liked it.

We always dine here when weâre in Aiken. The food and service is consistently very good. We always opt for the dining menu as opposed to the hibachi service which always seems busy and enjoyable to those who go that route. I always have the sashimi which is always fresh and varied and is beautifully presented. There are several dozen different appetizers that are tough to chose amongst.

There is a wide selection of food, but the selections don't ever seem to change. It is very hard to find anything spicy. The hot and sour soup is quite good. The sushi can be good, especially early in the day. The fried fish, with tartar sauce added, can also be good, if one can get it when it has just come to the buffet. If dishes like sesame chicken, which have a coating, are gotten when they were also first put out, they can be fairly good, but after they have been out a while, they seem hard and really greasy. The baked fish casserole is fine, when it is first put out. So are the green beans. The cucumber and onion salad is fine. The food always seems the best when the restaurant opens at 11AM. Once I went around 2PM, and nothing seemed fresh, and many items seemed hard and greasy. (This has happened more than once.)Sometimes one gets good service, and other times, one is ignored. If the food is fresh, it is a good buy. The interior looks fine, and there has never been a wait for a table.

We have not been here in a couple of years an another couple suggested we go. Dinners here have proven to be forgettable and this evening was no different.
My husband and I went to Sakura for Japanese style table side cooking, and the restaurant was surprisingly full for an early dinner. About six tables of eight were bustling with chefs performing their chopping and flaming routines, and they were very good at it. We had different combinations of steak, chicken and scallops, and the preparation was delicious. You get a broth soup, ginger salad, vegetables, and choice of meat or seafood selections. The chef was very entertaining, the children at our table were delighted, and the food flavoring was very delicious. We had so much rice and vegetables left that we took it home and finished it the next day. Watch out, though, this unique flavor gets you craving more.......you keep thinking about how deliciously different it is from the routine American fare. Try it and you will see.
