Legendary Food, Legendary Service
Enjoyed a nice meal on an overnight in Topeka. Close to Homewood Suites. Busy when we arrived but seated immediately. The warm rolls were amazing along with a great margarita! I ordered the Ft Worth ribeye with a baked potato. Perfectly cooked. Very enjoyable. Ayanna was terrific and took really good care of us. Would definitely recommend this restaurant!

The food was good as well as the service, BUT the items on the menu were expensive and outside our budget. We have eaten at other LongHorn Steakhouses and they had some budget-friendly items. We will not be going back ONLY because of the prices. Otherwise, it was GOOD!

Hard to find - very much off any beaten path, north of Topeka. Easy to drive by - non-descript uninviting exterior, gravel parking area. But, you did come here for the food. This is a no-frills steak house. Expertly grilled, large, quality steaks - ribeyes, T-bones, sirloins, filets. KC Sirloin is magnificent - thick, tender, juicy. Bacon wrapped filet very tasty. Salad and one side included. No deserts, but if you finish the steak, you won't need/want one.Prices are reasonable, atmosphere is steak-house dark. Friendly servers. Reservations a must - the place is not large. Put it on the GPS and go for a very good dinner.

You pay for what you get at Herman's, but you get what you pay for: Top-quality meats. The steaks are the best you can get in Topeka, properly cut and well-aged. No other place comes close to Herman's Porterhouse and bone-in rib steaks. They also have really good pre-packed frozen burger patties. The carry out deli meals are just as good as everything else here.Herman's is THE place for meat in Topeka.
