Excellent value and ambiance. Delicious food, not only sea-food and fish that are wonderful in so many restaurants here, but steaks too. If you sit in the bar, you can see to the kitchen, and it is fun to watch the busy, efficient chefs. Also the waiters and waitress do a fantastic job with a big heart. Antonio and his staff make everybody feel like a valued guest in the friend's house.If you want to secure a table, go early, or book in advance. The place is busy with locals from 9 pm on, especially during weekends.Thank you very much Eppar for your comment and especially for your visit. We went there twice, as we were renting in the vicinity. We had fish, which was very good, but what we found truly exceptional were the meats: a lamb brochette and a cerdo iberico sirloin. Crusty, juicy, with all the flavour expertly sealed within the flesh. Now, Rincon de la Victoria is not a holiday town for foreigners and we found some other restaurants in that area somewhat lacking in the service department. La Carreta has very kind and helpful waiters, the menu is available in English.Dear customer, thanks for your lovely feedback!We have the wish to offer our best service to foreign people, because for us is a important part of our business. We like when you enjoy of atmosphere and food and linked with a stay in Malaga.Thanks again, best regards.

We went for dinner with a big group and really enjoyed it. We seated outside, since the weather was perfect and the kids could run all over the place. We first ordered to share, tropical salad (yum), frites with three different sauces, and hamburger sliders (they run out of the duck hamburger--therefore I need to go back...- but the ox hamburgers were just amazing. Then I shared a perfectly cooked steak with my sister. The staff was very nice and attentive, however the kitchen was a bit slow, which was OK since the night was perfect outside. Price wise I left in awe-not expensive at all- Definitely going back!

Ubicado en el local que durante muchos años ocupó Nuevo Refugio, este restaurante ha venido a dar un aire de frescura a la localidad. Nos ofrece una amplia carta con ensaladas, tablas, entrantes, carnes, pescados y paellas, con cinco variedades a un precio fijo de 17,90 ⬠por pareja. Precios de la carta muy razonables y posibilidad de decidirse por el menú del dÃa que nos ofrecen de lunes a viernes, a un precio de 7,50 â¬. Estuvimos en fin de semana para almorzar y pedimos media ensalada Leche y Miel, costillas de cerdo BBQ, media ración de rosada frita y media ración de papas fritas leche y miel (con queso gouda y crujiente de bacon). Las medias raciones, grandÃsimas; de hecho, las que en cualquier otro sitio te ponen como raciones enteras. La de ensalada, exagerada. Muy buena calidad de los productos y precio realmente ajustado; no llegamos a los 30 ⬠para tres personas y salimos más que satisfechos. De todas formas, lo mejor del lugar es, sin lugar a dudas, la calidad en todos los sentidos del personal que lo regenta, que convierte una simple comida en una gratÃsima experiencia personal. Visita obligada.

En pleno centro de Rincón de la Victoria, este restaurante nos presenta como principal oferta sus carnes a la parrilla: pollo, cordero, chivo lechal, cerdo ibérico, retinto andaluz y hasta auténtico buey del valle del Esla a 90 ⬠el kilo. Complementa las carnes con una gran variedad en entrantes y ensaladas y algo de pescado. El local es pequeño, con ambiente taurino, y cuenta también con una pequeña terraza. Además de comer podemos comprar varios productos, como jamones, quesos y aceite. Acudimos para cenar y desde el primer momento nos sentimos muy cómodos, ya que la atención es excepcional; nos recibieron con unas cuñas de un muy buen queso manchego, cortesÃa de la casa. Para la cena elegimos un chuletón de retinto, un cachopo, un pincho de atún rojo y un pincho de gambas. Con cuatro bebidas, una cuenta total de 53 ⬠para tres personas. Realmente nos sorprendió el sitio: las carnes son excelentes; un chuletón de retinto de 650 gramos, a un magnÃfico precio de 30 ⬠el kilo, sabrosÃsimo, exactamente al punto que lo habÃa pedido; un cachopo gigante, ideal para compartir; la guarnición, unas riquÃsimas patatas a la gallega servidas aparte. Para rematar la noche, unos chupitos cortesÃa de la casa. En resumen: excepcional; gran calidad, precio magnÃfico y atención digna de un tres estrellas Michelin.
