The NY strip was as good ad I expected. Cooked medium rare as requested, juicy and very richly flavored. The au gratin potatoes were an exquisite side. Happy Hour only in bar area - and NO KIDS allowed. This is a first for us... fairly disappointed as I had a gift card too! They were not real friendly at hostess table either.Pamela, thank you for your candid review. We hold ourselves to the highest brand standards for food quality and what you describe is not consistent with our standards. Please email us directly at [email protected] with your contact information, including a phone number so we may speak with you further regarding this experience.

We were met by very professional hosts, friendly, and brought us to a table by the window. We enjoyed very good meal served by Ting, who did an excellent job. Filet was excellent, cooked perfectly. cost was reasonable for a steak house. Nice selection of wine by glass. Mashed potatoes were excellent. Over all an excellent meal. I gave it 5 stars due to outstanding service. Aloha and thank you so much for taking the time to post your review and comments. We appreciate them very much and we're happy you had an excellent dining experience with us. We will certainly let Ting know he provided you with great service.

During my conversation with one of the shop owners at Ala Moana Hotel, she recommended that I visit the restaurant at the top during 'Happy Hour' to enjoy discounted prices on some of the food selections from 4.30 pm to 6.30 pm. I proposed this to my boss (with some persuasion required) and after he agreed to join me, we skipped lunch and then waited anxiously for one particular lift to start operating to take us way up to the 36th floor. The panoramic view across to Diamond Head; the Yacht Club and out to the ocean, Ala Wai Canal, Ala Moana Beach Park and Magic Island and behind to the hills; with a perfect sky thrown in, created a 'wow' moment for me. The decor was also very attractive with different types of seating arrangements including 2 private rooms at the right and left flanks. Since we were the first to arrive, we had the privilege of getting a place up on the white piano with an elaborate chandelier overhead. After taking as many shots as I could before the crowd came, I finally settled down and ordered the Sizzling Steak on Hot Stone (the meat was tasty but be careful of the hot stone and don't let your meat fall into the salt) while my boss had the Seafood Trio. We shared a portion of the most delicious Garlic Fries and then each had the Dessert of the Day, really yummy Creme Brulee. We had an amazing time taking in the ambience, enjoying the food and the grand views, the music and song (right next to the pianist). When my boss' wife joined us later, she instantly fell in love with the place and the food, so much so that she and my boss came back 2 more nights for full dinners, even after moving to another hotel in Waikiki! And he told me the food (they had the steaks) was amazing and the night views and romantic night ambience simply enchanting.

What began in Chicago in 1978 is now one of the most award-winning steakhouses around. For over 30 years, Morton's The Steakhouse has been on a mission to provide "The Best Steak⦠Anywhere." Focusing on quality, consistency and genuine hospitality, Morton
Mortonâs steakhouse never disappoints! There service is tops, as well as their food! We had a table of 11 and our server was Sean. He was informative and very accommodating. Needless to say...the steals were cooked perfectly! Everything was delish from salads to desert! The only thing about this place that could use was a little more lighting. The restaurant is very dark.
