Find out what Steakhouse restaurants to try in Ithaca. "Ithaca is gorges" can be read on proud t-shirts across New York State, and there is definitely truth in advertising. Sitting on the shores of Cayuga Lake, the largest of the Finger Lakes, the hilly town of Ithaca is surrounded by dense forests, towering waterfalls, and many gorges. The natural beauty has a distinctly academic feel, as local universities have filled the woods with museums and education centers like The Cornell Lab of Ornithology, which features a 220 acre wildlife sanctuary.

MIX is modern, yet with a relaxed and fun atmosphere. An impressive steakhouse with a multi ethnic small plate menu, which offers guests a chance to experience multiple dishes and flavors throughout their meal. Creative cocktails and decadent desserts add
Loved the food but we were party of 7 & no one ordered a steak. And apparently the restaurant switched over to being a steakhouse within the last month. That may explain why the waitress didnât know the 6 bears on tap. Not sure I understand why the appetizer was served with our entree. Nor did she offer to get us drinks first. We simply just ordered everything then. Odd. And I found her to be slightly annoyed for no reason. But the food was very good.... Caesar salad was a hit (especially with my kids!), everyone loved the sliders... short rib & cheeseburger. The bread they give you is delicious! But I was unimpressed with the service. And the glass blown decorations... date the restaurant! Curious to see how this restaurant does because there are so many in downtown Ithaca. This was almost a mile away.

One of the nicer restaurants on Aurora. We thought weâd cobble together a meal of appetizers for our kids and were pleasantly surprised to be offered a childrenâs menu (not online). We thoroughly enjoyed our grown up dinner out, and our kids enjoyed their pasta, too!

We ate at John Thomas 2 nights in a row while staying at La Tourelle. Everyone from the receptionist to the waitstaff performed their duties in an outstanding fashion. The classic steakhouse offerings like surf and turf, etc. were prepared with care using excellent ingredients.Highly recommended!

Food here was good and hot. Steak juicy and tender. Chicken little bit underdone or at least tasted that way. A surprise for Roadhouse. Rolls are great as always. The wait staff needs to learn to talk less to tables they aren't servicing and keep their customers' drinks full. Shouldn't have to ask for a refill for each person at the table.

I have reviewed before, but I want to mention how awesome they are for business meetings. They regularly give every person in my group and individual bill which is not easy to get at many restaurants. When we are there we see many large groups of 75 or 100 that have regular meetings at Royal Court.I also appreciate have they often make things that are not on the menu for us that are special order and then charges a reasonable rate rather than taking advantage of the special order situation.Search for these special considerations and the great job they do with a large group then I must give them a 5 rating.
