A unique combination of incredible steaks prepared from top quality Argentine beef from grass-fed cattle reared in the fertile lowlands of Las Pampas, cooked on an authentic parrilla (barbecue grill), paired with superb Argentine wines and served in a vib
This is my favourite restaurant. I made a booking online. Later on I received a call from them stating that they had two large tables coming in and did I want to come earlier or later as then I wouldn't have to wait so long for my food. It was incredibly thoughtful and I don't know many places that would be so considerate. The food is always excellent and the service just the right level of attentiveness without bugging you. Food comes quickly. What more could you ask for?! These guys write the book on how to run a restaurant and delicious steak.

The new Miller & Carter is great - good food - my lunch bite steak sandwich was cooked to perfection and exactly what I asked for, great menu, lovely staff and great service, very elegant and comfortable and in a great location BUT a single glass of wine at £9.20 is totally unacceptable and a big minus for a lovely lunch. The last time we were in the staff were indicating that lunch times were rarely busy and there was no need to book beforehand !!! Why are we not surprised ?! The other downside is that the restaurant does not cater for a traditional Sunday lunch roast which in the Horsham area appears to be a really popular meal out with local pubs with good chefs, of which there are quite a few, often booked well in advance. Thanks for taking the time to review us here at Miller & Carter Horsham.Firstly I'd like to thank you for your positive feedback and 4* review which is much appreciated. With regards to the wine pricing the glass you are referring too is is one of the higher end prices we serve and significantly more than a large glass of our house blend and would probably be more appropriate with one of our premium cuts rather to accompany something on our fantastically priced lunch set menu admittedly. Presumably you hadn't specifically asked for this particular wine so will address this review with my team and our upcoming meeting to ensure a repeat of issues of this nature are minimised going forwards. With regards to the roasts this is not something we have ever offered among our 118 restaurants but I'll be sure to pass on your comments to our marketing department. We do however have an extremely good value and well received Sunday Set Menu which we we serve all day from £27.95 for three courses. We hope that you do give us another opportunity to make up for the wine pricing mishap and allow us an opportunity to give you a flawless 5* experience upon your return.Kind RegardsDanny

Booked the Meal Deal there with next door Premier Inn. The hotel would be much poorer without this Beefeater. Interior decor is good, food was well up to Beefeater standard and my waitress was cheery and efficient. Breakfast on Friday morning started at 0630 and was in full swing at 0700.

Having first seen SE in the market place back in September, I quickly decided to try it. I had the Thai-GRR. The steak was beautifully cooked, the flavours amazing. The following week, my partner joined in, she isn't a steak fan but she devoured hers before I got a look in, she has been converted! I also tried the Nutty Cow and the Guaca-have-one.New favourite must be the Nutty Cow,Cannot wait to go back and have a superb bit of food whilst supporting local trader. Thankyou Steak Expectations for some wonderful food, we will be back!
