Friendly service, nice traditional fashioned restaurant insidefor the food I have to say yes and no, the sauce is really good, the cuisson as well, however the meat was maybe to though.For information, I have a pfeffersteak (rumpsteak) and in my opinion the steak was to though for a real steak restaurant

I have been here a couple of times with a different people. First time I was a bit hesitate because they do have such a wide range of things and often that goes very wrong but the food here is very good, as is the service. The first time I had a Balkan dish and the other time I had just schnitzel. The food of the others always looked good and the portions are generous. Not the absolute best but better than many especially in comparison to those with a similar range and prices.

We were 9 people with no reservations on a Thursday evening before a long weekend. The waiter was quick to put something together for us, which we appreciated after such a horrible experience at the Ratskeller across the street. The service was good; friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was quiet and very calm with its arched stone white walls and old wooden beams overhead. The table was decorated like a 1970s restaurant, which could use some major updating but it gives you something to discuss while waiting for dinner. The wooden seats, although padded with similar style pillows need updating as by the end of dinner you could feel the hardness of the wood through them. The meal, very very good! I had the "alt bochum" number 97, 3 nice sized pieces of meat with fried potatoes and egg and mushrooms! Delicious! Cooked to perfection! Only complaint would be the presentation could use some work. The price was VERY good, well under 20â¬, which made me double check the bill because I thought they made a mistake! Overall, great value, good service, quiet atmosphere that needs updating.My recommendation is to get a table up in one of the alcoves on the right-hand side. More intimate for smaller groups.

Ein Steakhaus in der Nähe des Bahnhofs, eigentlich recht unscheinbar von auÃen, aber durchaus lohnenswert, es auszuprobieren. Man bekommt sehr gut zubereitete Steaks, genau so, wie man es bestellt. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt. Netter Service. Passt! Hier bin ich nicht zum letzten Mal.
