The mosques, bazaars, and Turkish baths of Istanbul could keep you happily occupied for your entire trip: an eyeful of breathtaking architecture here, a good-natured haggle over a carpet there. Kick your trip off at the awe-inspiring Sultan Ahmet Camii (Blue Mosque), which is visible from many points of the city. Stroll the Galata Bridge and stop by the Miniaturk Park to see its tiny artifacts. The Grand Bazaar has thousands of shops to browse, while the Egyptian Bazaar is a fragrant trove of spices and fruits.

Mihrimah Sultan Hamami is a good traditional Turkish bath for locals. It’s not a touristic place, so you will not have extra-service, but everything is clean and beautiful inside, stuff is friendly, even if they can not explain something in English. Entrance for men is from the central part, entrance for women is from the left side of the building, please, don’t mix up, as we did))). There’re sauna and traditional hammam hall inside. For 85tl you will get piling, soap massage, hair washing and mask for face and neck (prices in touristic hamams are much higher). For extra money you can get coffee peeling. Towels and slippers are included in entrance price, you will have your own changing room and they have hair dryer, if you need it afterwards. Highly recommended this Hamam for tourists, who like authentic places. It’s easy to get there by bus or taxi, we paid 20tl for taxi to get there from Sultanahmet area. Hamam works till 7:30 pm, so it’s better to come there before 5:30.
