Spanish cuisine in a very nice environment.Quality of food is very high and it impressed me positively. Good selection of wine and friendly staff. Music at the right volume and of good taste. I am waiting to come back there during summer as they have a small garden it should me nice to enjoy.

...the interior was satisfying at best (not "very good" as four points would imply) and the presentation of the dishes not necessarily what one would call haute cuisine. Don't get me wrong, liked the taste of most of the tapas fair enough and the service surely was friendly, but this would justify a 3,5 ratio at best, with a stronger tendency towards "satisfying" rather than being "very good". Still recommendable to visit, although not a place to show off.

Throughout Delicious: The new premises with a cozy atmosphere cater up to 50 guests. In the secluded courtyard there is a small terrace where guests can relax. At noon there next dish meals a weekly changing menu of tapas, night stand about 30 internation
Went there for tappas dinner with a friend who'd been there before. We asked them for a the special tapas menu. They asked if we had any food alergies, things to avoid and after this "check" - the adventure started. Wonderful service, outstanding food. Definitely a place to recommend to others hands down.

Really a place to go in Essen. For me the best Spanish restaurant in Essen. Very nice service in a good location. All dishes are excellent and recommended. Unfortunately, parking is extremely difficult/limited. For dinner on the weekend I would recommend to reserve a table upfront. Warm greetings to the restaurant manager. He is nice and flexible. Also in providing samples of interesting dishes.

We had rumpsteak which was delicious, cooked to perfection, tender and juicy. The neighbouring tables had a seemingly endless selection of tapas which looked very good. The place has a good reputation and we would definitely come back. There is a small terrasse which backs onto the street. We had a table indoors, I wasn't taken with the interior which is kept in dark colours (probably a cosy environment on a cold winter's night). The service was friendly and efficient - I would recommend the steak. The dessert of vanilla ice cream with chocolate sauce finished off an enjoyable evening.
