We enjoyed the food. The service was okay, nothing great, but the drinks and food were better than most Mexican restaurants around.

A great local find. I have been passing this place up for a long time. Finally stopped in for lunch. The food was great. Good choice of meats and options. Similar to Chipotle but better. The green Chile pork was great. Not a fancy place but food was delicious.

The place is a bit pricey overall, but the quality is good and it's always fresh...I go on Monday for their carne asada special...it is crazy good, especially medium rare....I can't figure out the marinade, I've tried....but I feel it's one of their best platillos...try it!

Vaqueros Mexican Restaurant & Taqueria Provides Mexican Food to the Colorado Springs, CO Area.
Carlos Miguel's bills itself as a "Mexican" bar and grill, but it really is much more than that. Its massive menu covers every Tex-Mex and Mexican staple you can think of, but also much more. There really is something for everyone here. Trust me, you'll have trouble deciding what to eat.The atmosphere is open and modern, but cozy enough to have a nice conversation at your table. The service has been consistently excellent across our multiple visits over the past week. And last, but certainly not least, the food is excellent. I especially enjoyed the crispy chili rellanos. There are a lot of dining choices in the northeast and Carlos Miguel's is right up there with the best of them.

We regularly eat here and have never been disappointed. The chips and bean salsa are great and there is a bottomless bowl for no extra charge. The servers know the menu and can easily accommodate my wife's dairy and gluten sensitivities. The portions are large enough for us to each get a box of leftovers for at least one more meal.
