The restaurant Jácome is located at Leça da Palmeira, 15-20 min from Porto by car but very near the beach. The place is well known for the fish, freshly arrived from the sea nearby, which I totally recommend, specially for those who love quality fresh fish, not frozen. The place is cozy, the staff is nice and friendly, the price is a bit high, but that's normal when concerns fresh fish. As a group of 5 we chose Linguado, Robalo and Arroz de marisco, all of them great, specially the amazing Açorda de Ovas, accompanying the Linguado and the Robalo.

Open-door for over 20 years in Matosinhos.Tito I is a landmark in the city for those who enjoy eating good grilled fish over coals in the good traditional way of Matosinhos. A cozy atmosphere and a friendly decor make this restaurant an ideal place to tas
This is an excellent family style restaurant where authentic Portuguese meals are served. The best on the menu were the grilled sardines. The grilled calamari was ok as it lacked seasoning. Portions are huge as a plate of oven baked cod was enough for 5 to share. After your meal, walk around the docks to appreciate the fishing industry

Went to the restaurant on the strength of good reviews but it didn't inspire me. Ordered the seafood in a loaf and while waiting I was given, so I thought, the cod balls but I ended up being charged for them. If I hadn't been on expenses I would have complained. The "green" wine didn't seem as "green" as next door in a the margarida restaurant in as much as it wasn't fizzy. Still ok though. Wouldn't hurry back, oh and kids weren't to noisy if you stayed in upper level.

Excellent restaurant in Matosinhos with fresh fish and seafood. Try fresh fish in cataplana, fillets of hake with seafood sauce, seafood rice and much more..
They don't display their catch of the day outside with hordes of flies hurling around the fish like at so many other restaurants of the area, they keep it safely inside and they are straightforward about the fact that the offer is limited on a Sunday because on Sundays there isn't much "catch of the day". But, the fish is fresh and tasty, the service is attentive and there is a good selection of wines at acceptable prices.Muito Obrigado, Marathonien pela sua Visita.Fazemos um esforço diário para que o nossos clientes saiam com vontade de voltarem.Melhores Cumprimentos.
