Dolenjske Toplice (pronounced [dɔˈleːnskɛ tɔˈpliːtsɛ]; German: Töplitz) is a settlement near Novo Mesto in southeastern Slovenia and is the seat of the Municipality of Dolenjske Toplice. The area is part of the traditional region of Lower Carniola. The municipality is now included in the Southeast Slovenia Statistical Region. The town lies on the Sušica River, which joins the Krka 2 km north of town. It is a spa town known for its thermal baths established in 1658 by the Counts of Auersperg.

Weeeeeeell, now for the surprise of the month. Ostarija is one of the finest Dolenjska region restaurants, dedicated to inventing their own ways to prepare otherwise traditional meals. I was astound at the level of creativity of this very small place. Since we were out of the sauna, we were not really ready for the full course dinner, so we only had a couple of warm starters and a couple of desserts. But a few looks at other guest's plates reassured us, that we will come again.

After a full day at the nearby hotsprings you will be hungry! This is a great restaurant for pizza, calamari and other general dishes, but pizza or calamari is all I ever order. Good service and very friendly.

Name of this restaurant does not match the interior style as Bobi sounds more dog name to me. But inside is really great ambient old stylish and eating is nothing but pleasure. Food portions are not too big so if you are houngry you will leave this place not happy. Food quality is average - nothing to impress but they have excellent home table white wine and really big assortment of other famous Slovenian high quality wines like Batic, Simcic and others.

Perfect restaurant if you like good/ quality sea food, traditional slovenian food, steaks, wine,.. Everything is soo delicious and the locals are very hospitable! There is a large range of delicious food even for the most picky ones. Would recommend it to anyone whoâs visiting Slovenia!

Been here with my partner, the ambient and the food is very good and original. Found their apetitizers superb. The service is also friendly and professional, for me the only leakes are a little bit overpricing and, yes- come here just if you are a fine taste lover or when you want to impress who come with you... not for very hungry people since the portions are more for tasting rather then honestly eating as I like.Anyway I think that I will be back, of course not when I ll be too hungry :)
