Some have never seen it and some (Pros) come from Europe for our Winter ski season, So come see for yourselves. 3 hours away from Melbourne and we will take in the incredible scenery all the way up to Mt Buller; Farm animals, Eucalyptus forrests, and much more.. Then the fun begins!

Andrew was our private tour guide to great ocean road ... he was punctual and very courteous .... we were group of seven with variable interest and age range. He was very considerate of variable needs ...... he gave us a detailed tour of great ocean drive and stopped at the all the nice attractions on our way ... gave us enough time to explore ... took awesome photographs for our group .... the vehicle was super comfortable and water bottles were much appreciated ...

Woke up at 3am in a cold 4 degrees celcius, left home at 4am to meeting point at Yarra Glen at about 5.30am, @globalballooningaustralia took flight at about 7am producing about an hour of awesomeness.
We were fortunate to have a smaller basket which meant it was a private group accompanied by super friendly and fun pilot Georgia (Scarlet on the ground, standing by for our go-by-ear-landing site).
The lift to 2000ft was smoothly executed, a little bit of rough landing in the end (expected and thrilling).
We saw the city skyline, wild kangaroos, a fast running rabbit, Yarra River that runs through the city, Sugarloaf Reservoir that supplies 30% of our water.
Ended the hot air ballooning experience with a beautiful Champagne breakfast at Balgownie Estate as part of the package.

We had an office winery tour for a delayed Christmas event and for all the other events we missed last year due to COVID. City Hire Cars were very professional throughout the whole process, and their pricing was very good value compared to other car hire places. They were also very accommodating to our needs for the day, allowing us to change times and even adding an extra person the day before without any issues or adding any extra costs. The driver we had was very friendly and very knowledgeable about the area as well. We would definitely keep them in mind should we do something similar again and I would definitely recommend them.
