We were lucky in travelling at a time with few tourists but had a fantastic time. The company was well organised and very honest. We had good information on the trip and what was expected. Our driver/guide was the perfect balance between giving us interesting information but at the same time allowing us to explore and ask questiions that interested us. The visits to traditional tribes were senstively done and visits were playful and fun. While we were in Addis the company took good care of us. Gasaw was very professional and attentive to our needs. He took us to a very traditional coffee shop which we woud never have found on our own . The traditional dinner dancing and singing was truely memoral.

Bale Mountains National Park is Located 400 km southeast of Addis Ababa. Contains a spectacularly diverse landscape. The high altitude, afro-montane Sanetti Plateau rises to over 4,000 m and includes the highest peak in the southern Ethiopia highlands. This undulating plateau is marked by numerous glacial lakes and swamps and surrounded by higher volcanic ridges and peaks. The southern slopes are covered by the lush and largely unexplored Harenna Forest. We did a trip for 15 days in Northen Ethiopia including The beautiful Simine Mountains, Dankil, Volcano, Lake Tana , Bahirdar, Lalibela, Tigray regions, Gonder, Blue Nile falls, Of course Awrmba villages and Addis Ababa city tours , Lucy, Merkato and many others.. and the organization for the whole trip was Simien Ethiopia Tours and the owner mate. The trip was by far one of the greatest and rawest experiences we had ever. The organization was perfect. Mate is very professional and knowledgeable about his country and this translates into the experience he gives his clients he is very friendly and showed genuine care and always strived to make the trip a great experience every step of the way.
