Greenville is a city in Hunt County, Texas, United States, approximately 50 miles (80 km) northeast of Dallas. It is the county seat and largest city of Hunt County. As of the 2010 census, the city population was 25,557, and in 2016 the estimated population was 27,172.

Greenville Municipal Auditorium is a beautiful facility and music venue. Located in historic downtown Greenville, it is easy to find. Big name performers appear there several times a year and the annual Bob Wills Fiddle Festival & Contest is held there each October.
