Though Mumbai can feel chaotic and crowded, there are peaceful moments to be found here. Nibble a paper cone of bhelpuri while you stroll the sands of Chowpatty Beach. Then, take a short walk to Mani Bhavan, where Mahatma Gandhi once lived, strategized, and was ultimately arrested. The markets are spirited places to bargain for spices or souvenirs. Take a guided tour of Dharavi – made famous by "Slumdog Millionaire" – for an eye-opening glimpse into what Mumbai life is like for nearly a million people.

During Sep'18, myself with my hubby & parents got to visit Ashtika Samaj - Kochu Guruvayoor temple located at Matunga. It was the first temple visited at Mumbai with my hubby. It was a beautiful South Indian temple, set up as a place of public worship in Matunga, Mumbai. Ashtika Samaj is also offering to the community, with full-fledged Marriage Hall within the temple complex. The deities available in the temple are Lord Ganapathi, Lord Ayyappan, Ram-Sita, Lord Guruvayoorappan, Lord Hanuman, Lord Shiva, Navagrahas etc., we had very good divine feel at the temple. Must visit temple at Matunga.
