Have hiked as well as driven my four wheel drive to this lookout , both experiences were memorable . Its steep so either way be prepared as its quite a challenge but well worth the effort. If driving choose dry conditions , its not a track you would want to tackle if wet.

Take this road out of Bright to Mt Beauty, then drive west right through to Yackandandah. Then drive back to Bright either through Beechworth and over Mt Stanley or more directly via Myrtleford.

A short drive from town gives a really good overview of the area. We drove up one way and down the other which made it more interesting. Worth visiting.
