We went on the Farm Walk today, I must admit the main draw was the sunflowers, however we really enjoyed the whole thing. It was so fascinating to hear the lengths that Nicholas has gone to to protect the wildlife in and around his land and his efforts really have to be admired. The sunflowers were breathtaking and the BBQ when we returned was absolutely superb. Such amazing value for money for just £10! Thank you so much. ????????????????????

Springfields Outlet Shopping

Reviewed By flyingangela - Sunderland, United Kingdom

Shops and gardens! First time here, and found it to be a "two-in-one" visit. Carpark was big, though you had to take a ticket at the barrier on arrival. After shopping - all known names: Sketchers, Next, Home & Garden,Fat Face etc etc there are nice gardens to walk around by designers such as Kim Wilde, & Chris Beardshaw. There is an 'activity walk' map to follow, with some nice water features, and seating areas - all rather nice/unusual for a retail outlet; a nice way to end your day. THE DOWNSIDE : if you dont know (like us), you have to PAY £2 at the ticket machines (by Cafe Nero), then ONLY HAVE 10 mins to get back to your car and exit! Not good if you cannot walk quick (like my mum or unsure where exactly you parked, or even maybe have kids to get into the car). Suggest you do what we did; walked back to car with shopping (and mum), then i went back to pay, before racing back to car to exit . Never before at any outlet have we had to pay!!! Just be aware of that if first time visitors
