It is so nice to have a vibrant Farmers Market here in Shelby! The wide variety of produce, meats, bakery items, and crafts is fantastic. And, we love that there is often a food truck and a local coffee vendor onsite. Often, there is live music, kids yoga or a cooking demonstration taking place during the market hours. This all adds to the fun, sociable atmosphere of the market. This market is special; our relatives drive in from Charlotte to attend because they enjoy it so much more than the markets closer to their home. We are always impressed that the market attracts people of all ages and from all walks of life; including some pretty cute pups most Saturdays! Having the market located at the City Pavilion allows you to enjoy regardless of the weather. After the market, we like to walk to other fun spots nearby; there are several great business within easy walking distance to this market.
