Top 5 Shopping in Moseley and Kings Heath, England

December 12, 2021 Diedre Savory

The geographical heart of England, Birmingham started life as a sixth- century Anglo-Saxon village. Today, much of this city of over a million dates back to post-WWII redevelopment in the 1950s and 60s. Cutting edge museums and galleries, innovative theaters and excellent shopping have contributed to Birmingham's appeal as a weekend break destination. Don't miss the hopping bars and cafes of Gas Street Basin or the fascinating creatures at the National Sea Life Centre.

Finally got round to booking and attending a class and it was just as I had hoped. A relaxing evening where I could learn a new skill in a small group. Lauren has a beautiful shop which made me nostalgic for dressmaking as a child. She was a great teacher and the small group meant she could give individual help as required. Felt I had really learnt some good basics and could be confident to knit at home and try my own projects. Level 2 sounds interesting too! Would highly recommend.

Spent the evening here with a few friends the other day. Really relaxing vibe. great facilities and polite, friendly and helpful staff. Lots of parents with young children visiting the various exhibitions or going to the events. We just sat in the relaxing bar. There is also outdoor seating adjacent to the park so you get a lovely evening breeze. There is a small shop selling some quirky stuff, and a coffee shop/cafe - which we didn't use this time. I like this place it and I'm sure you will too.
