We needed a shuttle to take us and bikes to do te ara ahi bike track. Keith went above just getting us from a to b, he showed us many of the geothermal sites on our way there. We got lost and even called Keith who put us back on track. He is such an asset to the company and just put 110% in to ensuring we had so much knowledge of the local area! Giving us things to look out for during out bike ride

Had a hilarious and very informative time with Shelley as our host on Rotorua Duck Tours. Something a bit different too in an ex army vehicle that goes straight from land onto water. The blue lake was a highlight too, glorious! Great value for money with our family of five including three children aged 17, 15, 11.

The trails in rotorua are world class, without a map it can be difficult to navigate without knowing the area but everyone was friendly enough to point out which trails are where. Bikes were in good condition, when paying top dollar its expected but not a given, and the staff were knowledgeable and extremely friendly. Highly recommend.

I happened across this online but when I tried to search for reviews I couldn’t find anything so wasn’t sure if it was even legit! Eventually I found reviews on a third party booking site so decided to try it out. I did the booking directly through the website and it was all very easy. Got the confirmation email within seconds and whenever you’re ready to start you just click on the link. I read somewhere you need WhatsApp on your phone but that doesn’t appear to be the case now as you submit the answers on the website at the end of each question. We chose to do the family friendly hunt with our 7, 9 and 11yr olds and it was quite enjoyable. It took approx an hour and that was at a very easy pace. The walk covers a few blocks and was very doable. The kids enjoyed reading the clues and then searching and taking turns submitting the answer. (The 11yr old probably would’ve been better with the older version as it was a bit easy.). All in all, a nice way to spend an hour and learn a bit about Rotorua. Note: it’s entirely outside but there’s a stop halfway where the clock can be paused if you need a break. It also takes you past the info centre at one stage so an easy toilet stop for the kids!
