My tour guide Giovanni was by far one of the best tour guides I have had on any guided tour I have taken. He was so full of life and love for the history of Taormina and Catelmola. He made the trip extra special for all of us. He really made us feel like a family as she called us all day! The transfer of the Vulcano tour includes: Departure at 8.30am, arrival at the Sapienza refuge at 10.30am (stop of about 2 hours). Departure for Taormina - during the journey we will make a small stop of about 20 minutes for a panoramic view to Isola Bella and continue to Taormina. Return to Syracuse. Our cars are registered for public use, equipped with the required municipal permits and have free access to limited traffic areas and to preferential lanes in all cities. Free bottled water wi fi. With a couple of friends I made this tour. After a pleasent ride, with a coffee stop, we arrived at Villa Romana del Casale, where we admired the beautiful mosaïcs. In the neighborhood from the Villa, Giovanni arranged a nice lunch at a very good restaurant. After that we continued the journey to the Valle dei Templi, where we enjoyed the wonderful temples and a stunning sunset. Giovanni has an comfortable car, is an excellent driver, is enthusiastic, very kind and is doing his utmost to make you feel at ease. It was a marvelous day. Highly recommended!
