Restaurant de spécialités poissons sauvages et fruits de mer. Produits frais travaillés a l'ardoise selon arrivage journalier.
We went there for a family diner and from the arrival, instead of being accompanied by a staff at the table, he just showed us the table from far and we had to seat without much welcome!! After 15 mins without a menu we tried to get the attention of the waiter who rolled his eyes up and said there is only one written menu on an ardoise so we had to wait. After which we finally got it and tried to ordered but one dish out of two was not available: well may be you should remove it from the ardoise then!! right !!?? After selecting the oysters, the waiter told us: careful at that time of the year they might not be the best!!!! So the only thing available might not be the best!! Weird!! We took that anyway and they were beautiful!!! Second dish was super long to come and we were close to the kitchen so could see dirty dishes piling up in the pass while new dishes were being sent from the same location: from an hygiene perspective, that was not on! The waiter talked very rudely to the chef in that pass and it was also not on!!! When the lobsters came up, they were the best I ever had. It still did not excuse the crazy service which made me think I will never go back or advertise this place. Also the name makes you think about a boat, the bar looks like we are in a tropical island and there was an Italian radio playing very loud music during all of our diner. It creates a confusing message and really does not look like a classy restaurant but more like a camping restaurant which serves food to tourists who don't care as they won't be back. Well guess what this is not a touristy place so if they do not improve, this place could be gone very soon!!

All food lovely. The only thing we didn't like we're the giant cockles as part of our seafood starter- not to our taste. The main delicious and dessert yummy. Good food and good value for quality. Doesn't serve wine by the glass though- not really a problem.

Facing the market (reputedly the second largest in France) this small cafe offers a few inside dining tables and a similar number outside.Lovers of seafood can indulge themselves in the house speciality oysters, but other choices such as prawns, whelks, salmon etc are also on offer.Stopped here for an early lunch with my wife and enjoyed some of the finest oysters that I have eaten anywhere, duly complemented by a glass of Muscadet. Marvellous! An absolute must if visiting the market.
