What a fantastic place such fabulous FRESH seafood it's hard to believe you are not at the seaside. Food was delicious well thought out and beautifully presented. The restaurant is really welcoming and funky with with friendly and helpful owners and staff. I can't remember having such a good meal. Keep it up Lazy Lobster

We came here as a family for a birthday meal. Booking was easy and there is plenty of free parking in a car park. Having recently changed owners, the new landlady is lovely and very very helpful and accommodating - thank you! Our starters arrived promptly, were freshly cooked and very very reasonable portions. The mussels starters were especially good and came in a delicious sauce. The goats cheese was also worth a try! We had scampi, mushroom stroganoff, seafood casserole and 10oz gamon steaks as our mains. All were large in portion and freshly cooked using ingredients sourced locally. The alcohol was also reasonably priced and there was a really large choice of ales and gins. We had one of the best birthday dinners and will definitely be back to this pub again. Thursday night visit in late October yet the place was still busy - but busy in a good way; enough diners to make an atmosphere but not too many to impact the service quality. The waiter explained the menu as it is not your standard fare and helped us choose both a vegetarian meal and something for one of the party who 'likes it hot'. Food was great with each dish tasting completely different; again a huge step away from the predictable protein + generic sauce option that some Indian restaurants like to churn out. Portions were decent sized and the bill pleasantly reasonable. Really liked the character of the place and have already recommended to a number of friends.

Firstly, the food. Itâs no wonder theyâve won so many awards so soon. This is really delicate, exquisite Indian cuisine, with a great range to suit pretty much anyone. Secondly, the service. I have not felt so well served and so comfortable in a restaurant for ages, and I travel a lot for work. You leave feeling like old friends. Finally, itâs great value for the offering. The portions are generous but not excessive, and the dishes are nicely presented in a modern, bright style. Whenever we dine at this family run restaurant we are greeted like old friends by the father and son double act. To avoid disappointment we recommend booking a table, taking your apperative in the glazed lobby overlooking the pier, and then settling down to a delicious lunch or dinner.
