Inspired by southern hospitality and fresh creative southern cuisine. We are laid back yet refined. Pull up a chair and stay a while!
The place has it all: location (on water, downtown, easy parking); ambiance (large but intimate sqare space beautifully designed); food (I had the pork chop and heirlo0om tomato salad which were excellent); drinks (try the smoked old fashined!); service (friendly but not cloying. The husband and wife owners are on site and make sure it runs like a top, Owner Mike actually came by to say hello.

Each year when I visit my mother we always dine out at EZELL'S.It seems like it just gets better and better. This time pretty Brianna was our server and she took quite good care of us.When our meals arrived I found my french fries were barely warm so she quickly got me another piping hot fresh order. The whole catfish, hush puppies, salad, onion rings and sweet cole slaw was absolutely delicious.Portions are adequate and the prices are reasonable, what else could you ask for?!I've been eating here for years and have never had a bad meal.Looking forward to my next visit.

This restaurant is a Columbus icon with a tradition of great seafood and service. We visited on a Wednesday evening at 6 PM. Unfortunately, our experience showed management has lost their former passion. Both male and female bathrooms were dirty and had paper strewn about the floor. Shady characters flanked the half full parking lot. We were greeted with a nod and quickly seated in a half-empty dining room. My wife had the whole catfish and I had clam chowder and fried oysters. The clam chowder was out of a Campbellâs soup can (we saw the can). Our baked potatoes were charred black on the outside and both entrees were served cold on cold plates. The owner spent his time sitting at a friendâs table for 35 minutes while both waitresses and kitchen staff sat, following his example. No check-back from the waitress or cashier on our experience. Iâm sad to see a disinterested owner in a formerly great restaurant!

I met a friend here for dinner a few weeks ago and was very disappointed. Even though the restaurant seemed extremely staff-heavy, the service was average if not inattentive. The main disappointment was the fresh red snapper that was so overcooked that it was tough, charred, and almost inedible, which was surprising given that the fresh halibut I have had at another of their restaurants was cooked perfectly. The menu seemed to offer an excessive number of different items, and the steep prices were not justified by the lack of exceptional quality of the food. They have apparently packed in as many tables and seats possible, so I would hate to be there on a busy night. So this is the replacement for a high quality, reliable, local restaurant? Don't know if I'll be back.

Red Lobster is known as the foremost expert in fresh seafood. Our commitment to serving quality seafood starts long before you sit down at our restaurant. Fresh Fish, Live Lobster.
My daughter and I went for dinner and everything was delicious! We also had a coupon (retailmenot) that took off a percentage and got our meal at a dicounted price. Appetizers, dinner and drinks (celebrating) her 21st Birthday!! Food was good and fresh and the waitress was nice and helpful. I ordered chicken alfredo and my daughter chose a combination platter that included fried shrimp, shrimp scampi and crab legs. Great experience. Go and enjoy!
