I can't say anything spectacular about this restaurant, nor can I say anything bad. It's just a nice, friendly, average neighborhood fish restaurant, although they do also serve hamburgers for the non-seafood eater. On second thought, I can brag about their prices. They always have specials where you can buy fried fish, fries and slaw for a very reasonable price. The fish varies based I'm sure on availability to them, sometimes cod, basa, pollack, it changes. The food is always fresh, hot and tasty! We eat there frequently!

We had trouble/unconfirmed bookings and were getting a bit frustrated, but we showed up and we're welcomed in. We had oysters and a shrimp cocktail, then duck and salmon! Everything was fresh, tasty, well presented and really enjoyable. And the wines were lovely too. We enjoyed a beautiful buttery Chardonnay and some Pinot. The jazz trio played throughout the evening and it was fantastic to hear live music as we dined. We will be back - next time we are in Florida!

My wife, sister and I stopped for lunch a few weeks ago and we were all a little underwhelmed. I had a fried oyster po boy, one of the specials and the oysters were rubbery and had way too much sauce. The macaroni salad was also very strange. Very small macaroni and dry. The fish my wife and sister was better, but there's a lot better fried fish in the area. Hi This is Lisa over at RJ's I'm sorry the poboy was not to your liking. You should have told your server so we could have made it right or got you something else. We have been selling a lot of the oysters and haven't had any other complaints but then again some people just don't say anything. Our macaroni salad is made with elbow pasta with minimal mayo. We could have fixed it up for you or got you a different side. Our fish is Haddock and most people are very satisfied with it. Again I'm sorry it wasn't to your liking. I do hope you'll give us another try and be sure and let me know if things are not up to par.We are here to make our customers happy.

No, I'm not complaining about the ENDLESS SHRIMP they still offer on a Monday, but the service today was atrocious!!! I just read another review that said "you'll wait endlessly for shrimp" and that certainly was true today. After Zoe, our waitress, had brought the cheese biscuits and coffee, we waited 25 minutes and nothing else had been served. The people in the booth behind us who arrived a few minutes after us had already been served their meal!!!!I actually got up to ask the hostess what happened to our food order. Shortly after that we got served. She brought us 4 servings of the same shrimp, never asking if that was our choice.Coffee and water needed refills and she indicated that she was on it. Another 10 minutes later, still no coffee or water. THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE SERVICE!!!! We drive over 30 minutes to get here, and try to make it about once a month, but never, ever have we had this bad service experience. Hoping it will not happen again....because we do love our shrimp!!!Hi, mamamia70.
