Situated next to the fishing pound of the abbey in Stams, Tirol, the Fischerstube offers not only great food but also a magnificent environment for your dinner. Trout was excellent, and so where the other dishes, e.g. Wienerschnitzel. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We came here several times and will come again.

For me it is the best restaurant in the area. The food is cooked with passion and quality of the product is very high.The portions are generous and the service is impeccable.the friendliness of the owner who is a greek original, gives the impression of being really in Greece.the room is spacious, clean and new.recommended for any occasion.

The service was amazing, friendly people, inexpensive and tasty! We are a vegan couple and we went there twice: once with my brother and once with a couple friends. The owner knows what vegan means and offered plenty of suggestions. The vegan dishes are cleared labeled in the menu. Was amazing! Higly recommended! And he gave us a free alcoholic shot. Cozy atmosphere and very nice people.

We have visited Al Castagno many times. The food is always very good, we usually eat pizza and pasta, with a side salad. Portions are generous and they welcomed our dog in the restaurant too. The staff are friendly and happy to help. The toilets are downstairs so might be an issue for disabled access but to be fair I have not seen if they have a ground level disabled toilet or not. All round a good meal and reasonably priced, a local favourite when we visit the area.
