Cozy restaurant offering a cuisine of Nice and Provence, adorned with art and offering gourmet pizzas.
Located in a quiet part of Longueuil, Lou Nissart offers delicious provençale cuisine in a relaxed atmosphere friendly and attentive service. I had the best fried calamari (light & crispy) with a refreshing vegetable risotto. Great for a quiet date night. Hello Mr.Perlinger,Thank you very much for such a nice review, it is very appreciated. We're happy to read you and hear that you liked our fried calamari and vegetable risotto. We are very proud of them!We will be happy to serve you again this summer! âï¸

Enjoyed a business lunch this past week at Cru. Oysters are heavily featured. I opted for the salmon tartare that was very enjoyable. The restaurant is a little pricey but the food is high quality. Service was friendly but not over the top.

After having an incredible meal at sister restaurant Garde-Manger, our expectations were high for Bremner and were we ever disappointed.Oysters - good but not worth 42$ for a dozen.Tuna sashimi - underwhelming and the portion size was sad. Steakhouse dinner for two - this was terrible. When youâre spending 80$ for a steak, you expect excellence. The steak was over cooked (they promise medium rare and it came medium well) and bland. The potatoes that came with the steak were nothing special and were just soaked in better. This was actually one of the worst steaks Iâve had in a restaurant ever. We sent it back and they took it off our bill.Pancakes - the dish that everyone talks about. Honestly it was just okay. Boring pancakes in a very sweet sauce making it impossible to not taste good. The service was also just okay but our server was friendly. We were shocked that this is the sister restaurant of the amazing Garde Manger. We wonât be back as there are so many better options not only in old Montreal but in the entire city.

We try to visit once a year on at least one of the trips that we take from Toronto every few months. We say at the bar which is always fun and had a great time talking and watching Julian create some beautiful seafood platters. My husband and I had a fantastic meal which started with a beautiful octopus appetizer and porchetta croquettes and to accompany our cocktails. Both were full of flavour and absolutely delicious. My husband had the new duck dish on the menu which was served on the smoothest squash purée Iâve ever had and looked and tasted beautiful. I had halibut on a potato roesti with peas and a very tasty little sauce. We wanted a nice bottle of wine which the maître d recommended and we were pleasantly surprised by the Austrian selection and how much we enjoyed it. Their wine list is always on point and the staff is very good at finding something that will complement your meal and your taste buds without making you feel like you need to buy the most expensive bottle to enjoy your wine (although if thatâs something you wanted to do, this is a place they could definitely deliver a winner). I donât think they have a bad wine on their list. We finished the meal with a homemade butter tart topped with homemade praline ice cream and some cheesecake and walked back to the hotel extremely happy and satisfied after an amazing night.

Classic fish & seafood in an elegant and friendly environment.
This place was recommended to us by our concierge, and it was so good that we ate here twice during our stay in Montreal. It is always busy so reservations are needed, and in fact we could not get a table until 8.15 on our first visit. It was absolutely full so was a little noisy but had a really good atmosphere. The menu is varied with several excellent fish options, which is what attracted us. We had the salmon, cod, halibut and the Dover sole on our two visits and they were all absolutely spot on. The starters were equally good, especially the soupe de poisson and the tomato soup.On our first visit, the wait between finishing starters and the mains appearing was towards the long end of what you would consider reasonable, but to their credit, they did spot this and sent out some amuse-bouches to quell the restless diners! However on the second occasion, although the restaurant was equally full, the slight delay was entirely within a reasonable timeframe. The wine list is extensive with a few well chosen offerings by the glass, which are on the expensive side because they are not your usual entry-level wines, (eg. the by-the-glass whites started with a Sancerre and a Chablis, and an entry red is a rather good Burgundy). This was absolutely fine by us as we tend to avoid cheap entry level wines anyway.Service was exemplary on both evenings in every respect. It is clear that the servers are completely au fait with all of the menu items, and that they have a very good grasp of at least the main wines on the list. This was the best dining experience in Canada (so far) by some margin. It was absolutely excellent and we can wholeheartedly recommend Chez Delmo.
