What a better spot to hang with the retirees than the Sandbar? With a supper-club like menu, it's definitely like stepping back in time. The standard piano guy is pretty cheesy playing synthesizer riffs, but it's still a fun night out if you roll with it. Pasta dishes ended up being the best quality at our table with the fish not quite prepared as ordered.

Just had my mom bday dinner with a table of 7 of us and we had an amazing great dinner with friends and family. The Tuna Tower was fresh and tasty, all of the combo plates were great and comes with nice Miiso Soup and Salads. The rolls were big and great quality.We will be back to Misaki soon.

21 of us came in from Vancouver and I had arranged reservations for a private dinner.I dealt with Cheryl who was great and responsive to emails and special requests.The area she had reserved for us was a separate patio and it was an amazing setting.Our server, JD, was great dealing with all of us and service was great.I had arranged for an appetizer station and off the appies were delicious. Everyone had a choice of 3 entrees and they were all great.This is a definite must go to again!Dear 472lucya, Thank you very much for your kind comments about your recent dinner at the Jackalope Ranch. When you walk into California Ocean Grill it looks sterile, like a fast food joint. Don't let that detour you, the food is GREAT! As the name implies, the fish is grilled, not deep fried like another touted seafood restaurant nearby with better décor. My wife and I came here for lunch and were greeted by Celena who was very friendly and helpful, a credit to this restaurant! I had the Seafood Salad with Asian salad. You could have that dish with Caesar or house salad as well. My wife had the Fish Tacos (2) which had a lot of fish and fixings with 4 tortillas.. Both were around $8. each and healthy portions. For that price you have your choice of Cod, Salmon, Shrimp, Tilapia, Catfish, or Sole. Mahi-mahi and Ahi Tuna are $1.50 more. We opted for the Salmon in both dishes and it was grilled to perfection. Request that the dressing come on the side for both dishes. If you get the fish and chips, a popular dish, that comes deep fried so you miss out on the best and healthiest way to cook fish. The fries looked good however. There are many other menu options like Crab Cakes, Ceviche, Surf and Turf, but none over $14. This place is a bargain! This was the best service we have ever received which made the experience totally worth it. The waiter, server, hostess and manager made us feel very welcomed. Due to their hospitality, we felt at home despite the restaurantâs sophistication. The food was of course also great, it was the best seafood & pasta weâve tasted thus far. Definitely would recommend it especially if youâre celebrating something special which my significant other and I were during our visit.
