Un pequeño restaurante con una excelente cocina. Especialidad de mariscos y pescado.A little restaurant with a very good food. Specially in fresh fish and seafoods.
The location and restaurant is very well, one of the best, not to say the best of the city.We got 3 starters, Anchois were correct but expensives, the fish soup, made with excellent mixed of products but not filtered enough, and not salted at all ....what a pity !The various panned calamars were excellents. To follow,we had fish brochettes made with good products, but the cocking was too much and too dry... unbelievable in Spain; where we spent 10 days and had "everywhere" just perfect cocking at the difficult limit of "just enough" cook.It is a pity, because it is a very nice place and with more "minutes'care" from the chief we would have had a marvelous diner.I would recommend this restaurant, anyway, but make sure to drive the cooking level when you are registering the order.Thank you for your visit and your opinion. I hope that other day you opinion will better.Sorry for my english.

Seafood is the gastronomic speciality of our restaurant along with all kinds of fish (sole, sea bream, turbot, halibut, kokotxas...) and varied meats. As well as seasonal products: squid frieds with onions, mushrooms prepared in the oven or fresh vegetabl
The restaurant La Zeria is small and very cosy. We received a very friendly welcome, enjoyed a delicious ensalada de pedriz (partridge salad), merluza de la plancha (grilled pike), txangurro al horno (crab from the oven) and with it we had a glass of wine from the Basque Country called Txakoli. It was absolutely worth it! I recommend that yoo look for the tiny chalet like restaurant!Hi Petra PThank you for your opinion, we are very happy to have received you in our restaurant and enjoy our gastronomy. We hope to see you more by our house.A greeting

The restaurant La Poissonnerie is now called Itsas Zaldi after having decided to close the business of selling fish to go. Here, no fixed menu. concocted from fresh products, it will depend on the market, the season and the mood. That said, in Istas Zaldi
This charming restaurant is a little gem. The fish, bread, wine, and vegetables were all delicious and the proprietor/chef and his wife could not have been friendlier or more patient and helpful. What a treat!!! Highly recommend.

Despite the blackboard outside prominently advertising service until 4pm, we were turned away at 2.35pm. When I asked why they advertised service until 4, it was explained rudely that it was 'la fin de la saison' (on 29 Aug). An apology would have sufficed.

Nice restaurant with pretty views on the mouth of the Bidasoa river. Local food, grilled fishes, seafood and meat.
There were only two other people in this restaurant the night we ate here but that was certainly not an indication of the quality of the food or service. Our waiter spoke English and provided us with an English menu. He explained the specials well to us. We ordered the grilled calamari, grilled monkfish, grilled anchovies, grilled octopus, mixed salad and Basque cake with ice cream. All dishes were superb. Unlike other restaurants in this area, you can sit in comfort at a table of your own in a comfortable chair with a view of the inlet. Maybe I'm getting old, but this is a much more comfortable way to enjoy a meal than being perched on a stool on a shared table or bar. This place should be a lot busier. Do not be deterred from coming in for a meal. You will not be disappointed.
